MTA Officers Awarded Medal of Valor for Heroic Act
Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Benevolent Association members Police Officer Johnathan Thangavelu and Police Officer John D’Ambrosio received the Police Conference of New York Medal of Valor on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 for extreme heroism by apprehending armed suspect while under gunfire on December 29, 2023.
